The social motion of Africans in America is a spontaneous mirror reflection of that process. This growing has to be led by an organization of professional African female and male leaders. Organization is material unity of will toward a common goal. Africans must be organized so that a single united social purpose can be achieved by the individual effort of each innocent person.

Africans are being made jobless around the world---along with other impoverished populations. In the United States, African Americans are 4 times more likely to be laid off than any other population group. Without jobs there is no chance to pay for food, clothing, education, housing, health care, transportation, utilities (lights, gas, water), recreation or even religion. Lives and living itself begins to be called into question. Rebellions will soon breakout. Then what? What must be done?

Yet, the African population is the most impoverished population in the world. Raw materials from Africa are at the heart of the technological innovations driving the electronic/computerization revolution in global manufacturing. Yet, most African nations are the least technologically advanced nations in the world. What is happening in each country economically, politically, culturally, socially, technologically, morally, militarily, demographically? What must be done?

In every urban area where black and brown children go to school, the districts are being downsized, teachers are being fired, services are being privatized and shipped out, buildings are being closed, children are being forced into larger classrooms (some having 50 students per class)---in a word, warehoused. Special ed, alternative schools, gang schools, and bootcamp academies have sprung up like rotten weeds to imprison and place in holding centers our children under the guise of educating them. Education for what? What kind of education are they getting and for what purpose? What next?

It is well established that when one does anything, unless one understands how to do it, its relations to other things, and the step by step procedures of completion, one will not know how to do it, or will not be able to do it well. This is what has happened to the educational process of Africans. It has been poorly done at best. Look at China and Japan, one socialist and one capitalist, one independent and the other a colony of the United States---but both have modernized engines of academic/educational excellence. Look at Africans around the world. While other populations are sending rockets into the outer limits of the solar system, no African population has yet to even manufacture a a single simple car factory in order to manufacture a car. From building 40 story pyramids over 5500 years ago to being behind the world in every significant scientific area is a testimony not only to how far we have fallen but to the need to build viable scientific universities. How can the administration of these institutions of higher learning be constructed in modern times?

Detroit's city government is $347 million in debt. The Detroit Public School District is $293 million in the red even after having laid off 1000s of teachers, closed over 87 schools, and warehoused over 40,000 students---most of them Black and impoverished. One in three Detroiters are offically unemployed; while that number is nearer to 50% when you add in Black youth. Detroit is the heart and center of massive unemployment, corrupt/rotten governance, plant closings, abandoned buildings, a "warehousing" education movement that cares for only children with money, a collapsed economy and transportation system, and unchecked crime on the streets against innocent /defenseless black people. Report on and discuss what is happening politically, socially, culturally and in terms of economics.

There are Black men in the United States running around sleeping with and making babies with woman after woman claiming this is the African way, and that they can have as many wives as they choose. Many of these are downlow.
There are entire schools claiming drumming and dancing as all of African culture. Even some black folk say intelligence and reason is Greek and emotion and spirituality is African. This is all silly nonsense. Africans in Kmt had scientists, engineers, linguists, martial artists, bulders, philosophers/cosmologists, agriculturalists, priests, civil engineers, artists, urban planners, builders of nations, ship builders, moral teachers, educators, construction engineers, military scientists. And the men by-and-large married one wife, raised their families with honor and respect, and were models for youth to look up to. We must get back to our best and reproduce it in our lives today.

Today’s prevailing gentile decorum of Black cultural criticism is an articulate yet uncritical celebration or fawning over almost any bent-over, groveling Black iconoclast with mainstream white/arab acclaim. The antithesis of this frivolity is sober analysis/sysnthesis of the objective conditions that produced such a weak mystical iconoclastic groveling Black poverty of philosophy.
Thus, all substantial cultural practices, expressions, and beliefs that either reinforce African subordination, or are not part and parcel with individual and collective elevation must be trenchantly criticized. This new holistic African system of critical analysis/synthesis holds that: “although the centuries-old white/arab supremacist capitalist/feudalist patriarchal system is largely responsible for African peoples’ precarious and pitiful condition, only African peoples’ actions will save them.” This approach is a galaxy apart from the spent blame-oriented perspectives where the idea is to demonstrate abuses of the system with the apparent hopes that its rulers and managers can be either shamed, begged, bluffed or enlightened into changing it. This is the entire spectrum of mainstream Black thought from conservative to radical and even those claiming to be revolutionary----in short, today, most have already rolled-over.

Africans are spread throughout south, central, and north America because of slavery; they are also spread through the Caribbean islands for that same reason. Islands tend to bring together/forge the people on theisland and isolate them from people not on the island. Unity in word must be practiced in deeds. But first the actual conditions of life in the Caribbean must be documented as to give an accurate theoretical picture/meaning to the essential question: unity to do what?

With the Black Codes of 1866-1867, and the re-establishment of overtly racist governments first in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, murderous white men in the South set about terrorizing the African race with federal, state, and local police forces. Hardly a year had passed since the end of the Civil War, when six former Confederate officers met in Pulaski, Tennessee, to found the KKK a terrorist organization with a broad racist white support base whose sole role was to mutilate, terrorize and kill African people. This was easy because the African population in the United States was not prepared, African "leaders" were in collaboration with consistently inconsistent white liberals, and there was no revolutionary organization that independently defended the rights of Africans.

Over 84% of the books written and read by African Americans are fiction novels, mysticism and short stories. Go into any bookstore in the country. You will not find one single technical book authored by a black scientist, civil engineer, statistics expert, research scientist, technologist, architect, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, biologist, chemist, computer scientist, urban planner, agricultural engineer, car manufacturer, political economist, military scientist,or even a philosopher. Everything necessary for independent social, economic, political, cultural, educational, and technological development is missing. In their place is mysticism, speculation, superstition, religion, and silly made-up stories that adults read well after their childhood days have passed. This must be changed. Writing technical books 101 is a beginning/overview.

African children transition into adult as do all other children in the world. Rites of passage are universal. The leadership and wisdom of elders is at the heart of any tradition of cultural excellence. Because of centuries of enslavement, segregation, colonization, neo colonization and the present new world order African adults have little control over the moral maturation of their children once they are turned over to the society's educational system. That control must be regained and a system of self improvement, self respect, mental maturation, moral maturation and martial maturation must be reestablished. Eclectic mixtures will not help us now. When African folk talk of economics they are really talking about black capitalism---the same capitalism that just recently had them enslaved and segregated for the sake of profit and wealth. They do not know or care to know of other economic systems which must be developed if we are to dig out of 500 years of exploitation and oppression. When you ask them what form of society they are about creating, none have any vision beyond capitalism. Peery, a communist in his late 80's and Robeson, a gaint in the communist movement have taught many lessons (good and bad) regarding the class war that is inevitable in the transition from slavery, feudalism, capitalism, and socialism to a higher form of society based on the scientific and technological revolution. They were born well before the basis for the new societies emerging today had matured.

Padmore and James were black communists and socialists at a time when being such a political entity was not safe. They summed up their experiences in those white dominated movements in articles, books and speeches. The best of what they left must be isolated, critically analyzed, the rational kernels must be extracted and the useless groveling husks must be discarded. Both married white women, both wrote largely for a white audience most of their lives, both made valuable contribution in theory and philosophy but little in the way of building Black cooperative socieities and social systems. There are lessons here for what not to do as well as some for what needs to be done.

Less than 0.7% of the world's African population has earned a Ph. D. in any field of study. Even fewer black people have applied scientific education. It is no wonder that we live in the worst houses, have the poorest quality roads and bridges, have never built airplanes, don't mass manufacture our own cars, are the poorest fed, have the most aniquated factories and farm equipment and have the least developed technological infrastructures in the world.
This could change in less than a decade if the vision of progressive Africans would change from crawling around on their collective knees hoping for handouts from enslaver mysticism. Replace speculation and superstion with science; produce engineering teachers instead of preachers; build on this earth instead of taking sky trips and building sand castles in the sky. Discuss scientific writing on the level of Masters and Ph. D.
